Going to Aunt Diane’s for Thanksgiving is never about the food, it’s about the thrift shopping. I can always count on her to take me to all of the good thrift stores in Atlantic City which includes Goodwill and our fave, The “Sal” or Salvation Army. Little did we know that on black Friday everything at the ‘Sal’ was 50% off until 12:00 pm! You best believe we got there at 11:00 and shopped until 12:00. This is how I know I truly have a gift:

This dress was hanging smooshed between some Sag Harbor reject and some other grandma looking dresses. As soon as I saw the print I KNEW it was Betsey. When I saw the original price tag, then I knew the universe wanted me to have this dress.
