Jeans will never disappear from our fashion vocabulary. Dressed up or down, they are the staple of American fashion dating all the way back to the early 1800′s. Worn by workers and soldiers first, this pant phenomenon grew fast and strong into a fashion fad that will never die.
Fast forward to today, when a lot of companies let their employees wear jeans to work, or at least on certain days of the week. The “Pants of America” is what I like to call them, can now be bought cheap or designer, for the fat or skinny, young or old.
Since I rarely pay full price for anything, I have given the following three websites the “Dressrecycler SOA” (stamp of approval) when in the market for purchasing jeans. In no particular order:
1. www.jeans.com: I do have to say I was quite impressed with the educational fit guide (below) and ABC’s glossary of terms pertaining to denim. Interesting and informative to the customer who’s isn’t familiar with denim terminology or fit. Prices are NOT low, however the site is welcoming to new customers and one can comparison shop different labels.

2. www.levis.com Levis has really come a long way past the stigma of just jeans. They have a true sense of style when it comes to the casual every day denim crafted pant. Their prices are truly amazing ($39.99 to $99.00) and they quality and standard really speaks for itself. Hit the logo below to link straight to their “jeans under $60.00″ page.
3. www.hautelook.com For the savvy web shopper that can bid with the big dogs. You have to register and bid on their auctions in order to purchase. Their prices are generally pretty decent but you have to be on the lookout for someone to outbid you. If you just want to buy hassle free, then this isn’t the site for you. There are other sites similar to this such as www.ruelala.com and www.365hangers.com. They aren’t just jeans but do have denim catagories.
When looking for the best denim deals, hit these sites up to take some off some of the purse pressure.
Let me know what deals and steals you find. This creates good fashion karma for you as we all know. The only thing better than you getting a great deal, is helping someone else get a great deal.
I am-The Dress Recycler.

Great suggestions. I especially love the Jeans.com fit guide, really helpful!
