In googling my own name, (I know we all do it), I wanted to see how I was placing on Google’s list. While I was looking for me, The Dress Recycler, I found my new love Nicole and her website-http://www.recyclemydress.com/.

What she does: She revamps, recycles, restyles, reconfigures and redesigns your old formal dresses. Bridesmaid, wedding and old prom dresses included. FABULOUS!

When she does it: As soon as you give her your dress that so desperately needs a makeover, she has a consultation and design session with you about what your needs are. Prices start at $25.00.

How she does it: She busts out her sewing machine and sews like the wind. It’s a God given talent, really. It’s like rhythm. You either got it, or you don’t. Needless to say, she’s been watching her mama and grandmama work their magic on their machines since she was 12. Each dress is 1 of a kind and custom made.

Where she does it: Her home now doubles as her sewing factory. I’m sure she sleeps when she’s not turning someones fashion nightmare into a reality of sheer elegance and current style.

She also can be found doing “First Fridays” and local art and trunk shows in boutiques in her area. What area might that be? Bucks County, PA that is.

Why she does it? Because it’s her personal mission in life to recycle your out of date dresses into an updated, upscale, off the charts knock out that it deserves to be after hanging in your closet for over a decade.
