So here in New York it rains sideways. I don’t care how big of an umbrella you have; nothing can keep you dry when you’re the drowned rat in the New York rat race. I have probably been through at least 15 if not more umbrellas that I have either broken, lost or gotten stolen. The cheap ones blow inside out if the wind is too strong and if you have a nice one then chances are you’ll leave it somewhere and never see it again.
With that being said if you are going to keep your head above water in all of this rain then a great pair of rain boots are in order. My girl from Detroit bought a pair just to have when she comes to visit me since it rains every time she gets off the plane.
The fabulous thing about rain boots is that they come in a wide variety of prices. If you are in the market of just keeping your feet dry then you can click on this link here. http://www.whatapair.com/wp~aspx~cid_29~display_all~pw~searchresults.htm. I was so impressed with their large selection and broad price range; $29.99 all the way up to the
ones I wan

If you are a short person this will cut your leg in half at first glance. Stick with the SOLID colors to give your leg a longer more pleasing look to the eye. I only say this as these types of boots are usually worn over the pant which makes your leg look shorter to begin with. Don’t add insult to injury by making is a psychedelic tetris looking pattern. Yuck. If you must have a busy boot pattern then stick with a small ditsy or dot if possible. I know they’re cute just make sure they compliment your leg silhouette. Target also has a super selection….http://www.target.com/ along with very reasonable pricing so don’t forget about them.
As you know, you get what you pay for. Choose wisely because these can last you for a few years. There’s no price you can put on keeping your feet dry, not getting soaked up to your knees and saving your good shoes for dry days.
