The Dress Recycler on Location: Century 21

Here’s why my nosiness works in my favor.
When: Tuesday/Lunchtime
Where: Century 21
Why: My quest for fellow bargainistas in the flesh

Picture This: I’m a sinking ship being taking down by sea of tourists…. (Yikes) Before I wave my white flag in surrender to get to the hosiery and sock department I spot Amee wearing her adorable safari shirt dress. I stop to admire her outfit and ask, “Do you mind if I ask you where you got your dress?” She pleasantly remarked that she got it a few season’s back on the XOXO sale rack at Macy’s for $30.00. The belt? It was her mama’s from the 1970′s. (I was so proud). I knew I smelled a fellow bargainer around the corner! My instincts were right and I snapped her picture immediately for posting. Excellent work my new bargainista buddy.

I know I keep blogging about great caption tees but this one really made me dig out my camera after almost being trampled in the handbag department. Those of you that have been to Century 21′s handbag floor know what I mean. Here’s Lana in her Forever 21 novelty caption tank for $15 bucks. LOVE IT!

Last but certainly not least, my fave of the day: Veronica. She looked GREAT in her Forever 21 Jersey Tank Dress ($20.00) and her $5.00 long necklace with an over sized heart from Joyce Leslie. I was very impressed with her choice in color-mustard yellow against her dark skin….(fabulous) and even though her boots were expensive she knows how to put her money where it matters. Don’t worry Veronica-I’ll find you again somewhere looking fabulous. Coming to a ‘hood near you…………I am – The Dress Recycler.

    Loving the blog!! You should definitely write your articles in the Fashion section of the NY Times! Or Any Fashion Magazine!! Btw were those t-shirts in Century?? I LOVE fitted T-shirts w/ funny/cool slogans!
