The title says it all….. Today in my hunt for the fashion kill I run into a local artist (yay!) who to say the least, was right up my alley. Here’s the scoop on my new friend Nicole Alexander, Jewelry Designer extraordinaire:-She’s a RECYCLED Jewelry designer….Love it! Perfect for The Dress Recycler Blog…..
-She makes rings from vintage buttons (see pics above)
-Everything she makes is by hand locally
-These rings are just a small part of her collection. She will make any piece of jewelry from cloth, metal or anything that she finds.
Nicole will buy buttons in bulk from anyone by appointment. They can be any size or material. The best thing about her product? She will do a FAIR TRADE. Her rings retail anywhere from $18.00 to $36.00 each. However, if you bring her 1 button or a whole bucket, she will make you a ring for free.
I love a designer who will let the product sell itself. The best way to advertise is to pass on the craft! It will always come back to you.
